Prospective Students


Welcome, Prospective Students and Parents

This section is for the Prospective Students - "the students of tomorrow..." We would recommend that you first check out the "About the Department" page. It has a lot of information which, we are sure, will be helpful and also informative to you.

The Department offers three main programs: B.Tech., M.Tech. and M.C.A.

 

For Prospective B.Tech. Students:

The Department has been offering the B.Tech. course since 1987. The current intake of B.Tech. students is now 40 per year. The B.Tech. course is of four years duration. The eligibility criteria for admission into the B.Tech. course is that you must have a good rank in EAMCET. Typical EAMCET ranks of the present B.Tech. students range from Rank 100 to Rank 500. For Prospective M.Tech. Students:

The M.Tech. course has been newly introduced (since 2000). The current intake of M.Tech. students is 30 per year. The M.Tech. course is of one and half years duration. Students are accepted on basis of Entrance Examination conducted by J.N.T. University, Hyderabad. You can check out the Syllabus Section by clicking here.

 

For Prospective M.C.A. Students:

The Department has been offering the M.C.A. course since 1996. The current intake of M.C.A. students is 40 per year. The M.C.A. course is of three years duration. Eligibility for admission into M.C.A. course is getting a good rank in the ICET Entrance Examination.
